Digital Learning Device Scheme
As part of our our digital strategy and commitment to providing a modern and engaging learning experience, students in Years 7–11 access the curriculum through the use of digital devices in school, as outlined in our equipment list.
We therefore invite all students to join our digital learning scheme, which enables families to purchase or rent a school-approved device.
Devices are used both in lessons and at home to support our blended learning approach. By integrating technology into everyday learning, students develop the digital literacy, organisation and independent study skills that are essential for success in education and future careers.
The device selected for the 2026 intake has been carefully chosen to meet the demands of learning throughout your child's five years at Lostock Hall Academy. The scheme ensures that every student has access to a fully functioning device, covered by warranty, for the duration of their studies at LHA.
